Daniele Salvatore Tomarchio received the MA degree in Corporate Finance at the University of Catania, Italy. He is a PhD student at the Department of Economics and Business of the University of Catania. He has been visiting PhD student at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics of McMaster University (Canada). His main research interests are model-based clustering and finite mixture models, with a focus on financial applications.
